This is a must see, if you are in the Randers area (midt jylland) The 3 indoor spheres are really great even if it rain outside :) Ex. you can go for a walk suspension bridge and explore the rain forest at treetop level. Remember to go to the butterfly/snake-area. The new outside complex have two amazing jaguars (one black... More

To call it a rainforest is an exaggeration. The place is more three large greenhouses in a tropical climate. We visited in the Summer, we reckon that the place adds more value during the cold winter. Of the tree geographical greenhouses, we liked South America the most.

Great reconstruction of different natural habitats with animals which roam free inside the domes with you. We had birds flying by our head, little monkeys jumping in front of us, visitors can feed the animals at the proper times with the food provided by the zoo (don't bring your own) and the zoo keepers sometimes have guided tours or exhibits.... We went two adults and two children. The children was very hyped about alle the animals. Definitely worth the time and wisit. A bonus is the big playground out back with hours of activity for the children + a great animal show thoug in danish but you will enjoy it anyway...

Great adventure in store, it's really a true rainforest experience. There is a possibility of authentic sounds, you can come close to both small and large animals. There is also the opportunity to experience feeding the animals.

Great place to visit... parking immediately outside, we paid about 36dkk for just over a 4 hour visit. For a family of 5 it cost us 923dkk which included one teen getting a 27dkk student discount on production of his uk student id card. It does seem odd though that younger teens without student id but obviously in full time... More

Have been to Randers rainforest many times and are never disappointed, even in high season it's still a nice experience with happy friendly staff. If you wanna have a bit more space my experience is that the last opening hour is worth staying for, so if you missed a thing or two when walking around, you can go look closer... More
