Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved our stay in Le Touquet. Our accommodation, close to the Phare, was great with secure parking and close to all the local amenities. This is our fourth time here, well worth a visit.

Absolutely brilliant! The tour guide made it very interesting, great to find out the history of this beautiful town, spoke very good English and very accommodating. We made it half way to the top of the light house-jittery knees! and having my curious and active 6 year old play role in this! Or maybe just an excuse as I am not very good with heights. Great experience never the less!

Visited here recently, guided tour was ok, but was only available in French, so didn’t understand a lot of what the guide was saying. Once you’ve climbed the 274 stairs to the top of the lighthouse the views are amazing!

Not the usual 'round' lighthouse, very French and attractive, with a lady we met outside, who gave us all the background facts of the building..rather than repeat, you can find on their website. Worth a walk around, when visiting this lovely town.

Set well back from the sea in a small park. Well preserved. Visits are available but didn’t use them.

We climbed the lighthouse with our kids sge 9 and 5. The steps are easy and it's very beautiful on the inside. Of course, the views from the top are fantastic! Check the opening times as you have to go on a tour, which happens on the hour - 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. Well worth climbing.

A little disappointed as we visited on Monday when it was closed. Impressive building, but strangely it’s not right up at the coast but about half a kilometre inland just behind the Westminster Hotel. Will try again next time.

There’s not much to the lighthouse. We were a bit disappointed and would say it’s not really worst the trip

Unusual lighthouse in as much as it is in the centre of town rather than on the coast.
Excellent views from the top as far as the medieval walls of Montreuil and, only on an exceptionally clear day , the white cliffs of Dover.
Admission 5 euros , guided tours available but hours are afternoons only and dates are limited. Check with the website or tourist office.l

Only our second visit up the lighthouse in 35 years of visiting. It's rarely open but worth checking out its opening times so you can get it right. 278 steps up, your heart will be pounding! but you have plenty of time up there to walk about and see the 360 degree views which are stunning. Reasonable and a great exhibition downstairs too.
