A lovely walk from Duino to Sistiana, not too demanding and with great views over the Gulf of Trieste.

We really enjoyed the walk on the cliffs, but it was very sunny so on the sun wasn't that plesant as it was in autum. There is also a restaurant on the way with toilet, but it was completelty packed with people.

It's easy to find the path, but it was not easy to find a parking place. On a sunny Sunday it full of people, I think it's better to visit on a working day. The view is fantastic, the path is rocky so don't try...More

This is just a lovely walk, or hike. It might be hard on people with walking difficulties, I know my grandmother was able to walk one way, but not the other. But nature and view is absolutely fantastic.

Rainer Maria Rilke stayed at Castello di Duino and wakled these paths through the forest where he got the inspiration for his famous Duino Elegies. The views from the cliffs over entire gulf of Trieste and nearby castle is amazing. Do not miss it.

This path (sentiero) is at the same time typical of the Carst and of the sea side. The vegetation and the rocky environment are what you see in the whole area, but then the view on the Adriatic sea is unique. The place has two...More

It is nice to walk on the cliffs but it's not very special. Put on comfortable shoes because there are rocks on the way and it is sometimes slippery. There is also a bar along the way where you can take a drink and enjoy...More
