On my recent trip to jerez,l was very keen to have a true andalucian experience .we reserved a lunch with a live flamenco performance. We booked through our hotel and specifically asked about a vegetarian meal and we were promised one,as in Spain meat an...More

We visited the lunch show (14:30) at La taberna flamenco in September. We chose only the show with two drinks and that was fine (there are enough restaurants in close proximity to have lunch). Parking is a bit of an issue, but we managed to...More

First, it was nearly impossible to find this location. We knew it was near the Iglesia Santiago. In actuality, it was down an alley behind the church (which is undergoing renovations). We had only ordered drinks with the tickets. But when asked, we were able...More

We knew this place is worth visiting. And surely it was! I loved the way of performance: not a show but warm, intime set of dance, singing and guitar-playing. Lämmin, kotoisa tunnelma. Intiimi ja koskettava esitys intohimoisilta esiintyjiltä!

We were directed to this taberna by a friendly Australian young man who knew the place. We would never have found it alone as from the outside you can't tell what's there. But what a surprise when we entered... authentic interior, super kind staff... There...More

We stumbled into this quaint little bar and it was one of the highlights of our trip. They serve sherry, beer and tapas on wax paper, and write your bill up in chalk on the bar top. We were lucky enough to be there on...More

The show didn't start until 10.30 but it was worth the wait. A guitarist, male and female singer, one male and two female dancers made up the troupe. Sitting on a row of chairs on the small stage, they commenced with a wonderfully synchronised percussive...More

We love flamenco. Tradicional ànd modern. The show we saw made a lot of noise, but had unfortunatly a poor quality. Singing was not very good, guitar was even worse. But if you want to experience a real gipsy-style flamenco show... We didn't eat there.
