Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved our visit to this beautiful walled village, with panoramic mountain views and San Gimignano in the distance. A ticket to “walk the wall” is worth it and offers scenic views and photo opportunities. There are some lovely restaurants and shops, with interesting items I hadn’t seen elsewhere. My personal favorite part of the visit was a garden that was abundant with singing birds. Magical!

"Monteriggion di torri si corona". so Dante speaks of this beautiful village. Its walls will make you live the experience of the patrol that the knights did during the Middle Ages. P.S. If you have played assassin's creed 2, you will have the distinct feeling that you have already walked on those walls without ever having visited the city.

Walls of Monteriggioni surrounds all this little town in Tuscany Region, in the center of Italy. In fact, you can park close to the walls and it is your first vision of the town. Also, when you enter in the town, you can go up in some parts of the walls, walk on them and see very beautiful views of surroundings, Tuscany land. Really, it is a very good place to come with children, because they can enjoy a lot playing, running, seeing the views always without cars.

Tourists with little time and a checklist may want to give this a miss. We were staying closeby and weren't up to anything major. We got more than what we expected. View was awesome, tiny church was enough for us to say our family prayers and walk around didnt take long but i scored me real leather boots for 45euros at one of the shoe shops/factory. The while place was just charming at sunset and it was when there was more light.

There are two lots as I recall. The lower lot is huge
and should have parking availability even on busy days.

The upper lot is much closer. It had some sort of indication of free spaces. You claim a ticket... you must validate the ticket BEFORE exiting. We got in on a cloudy day in October

It is worth a visit. The view from the walls is astonishing over the countryside and the castle. It is divided into two parts as you cannot go the whole way round.
