Sign outside says free entry but it's actually 3 euro per adult. Permanent exhibition inside the building with the ruins outside. English guide on all the exhibits. Interesting way to spend an hour.

The remains here show the early Roman presence of the Algarve region. Don’t miss the ruins and relics in the museum. Only 1.5 Euro entrance fee. Closed 12:30-14:00 for lunch.

A bit disappointed with this visit but for €3 entry worth a look I suppose. Easy to get to five minute walk from marina. You won’t be there long. Half hour tops. I would not go again though

We took a wonder round this historical site during our recent visit to Vilamoura, and found it very interesting. It was very reasonably priced a 3 Euros per person.
