This is a great little zoo. Some lovely animals in decent enclosures. The raised walkways mean you can get very close the the animals no matter where In the enclosure they are.

Recently visited and was very surprised how close you can actually get to the animals! There was a small part of luck they decided to be near where the paths/ walkways were don't think I've ever been that close to a alligator and leopard! Also...More

We were staying in Caister-on-sea for the weekend so took the short journey to Thrigby Hall. We have annual passes for Jimmy's farm and these gave us a 50% discount so cost £14.50 for two adults. It was a cold, wet & dreary April afternoon...More

A very tidy place, pretty good value for money and interesting choice of animals. This is not the biggest of zoos however they have quite a lot of different animals and it was presented well almost combining a climbing park with animal viewing at times....More

As we rolled up in the car we felt abit apprehensive about paying 14.50 each as it didn't look too great! Don't be fooled, absolutely fantastic settings with fantastic animals (some very friendly)

Thrigby is about 3-4 miles from the nearest mooring on the Bure. The best is probably at Stokesby Ferry. This is Norfolk, there will almost certainly be no public transport. Walking on the busy but single track roads will... More

Yes, definitely, there are ramps everywhere and also viewing ramps through the trees to see the animals close at hand. Plenty of room for you but would probably avoid a weekend when there are lots of buggies there!
