We took our 2 year old here for the day last month and even in the rain it was a lovely little day. Nicely laid out and nice selection of animals. The place is quite small but still charming. I enjoyed all the high walkways....More

This zoo like many other small private attractions is in need of some investment to update and improve the experience. There are some great animals but some of the encloses need refurbishment. In general I think it is great for kids 8 and under but...More

Well laid out park and all the animals look so content and well cared for. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed their visit as did we.

Hi David, I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit. I am surprised that you didn't raise any of your concerns with us during your visit. I can assure you that the animal enclosures are not dirty and are most certainly not full of...More

currently £14.50 per adult but you can save £1 with vouchers found on attraction leaflets every where. We spent 5 hours looking at all the animals and watching the big cats feeds in the afternoon. well worth the visit. The cafe is also reasonable.

Blessed with a gorgeous sunny October day we headed to Thrigby Hall. Hadn't visited before and weren't disappointed. Exceeded expectations. Lots of animals to be seen close up. Food and drink reasonably priced. Great for a family day out.

Not in the same league as some of the bigger zoos but the price reflects this. Keeps children amused on a family day out. Could probably soon do with a new attraction or a little revamping to maintain interest. Animals are well looked after.

There are those who disagree with wild animals being kept behind bars and to a certain extent, I agree. At Thrigby however, the collection is not a huge one and is an important breeding centre for some exceedingly rare and endangered species - see their...More

An incredible place to visit, some of the most beautiful wild cats, I have never seen a snow leopard up close but I did here and they are gorgeous animals. The best part of the visit was getting up close on a viewing platform and...More

Thrigby is about 3-4 miles from the nearest mooring on the Bure. The best is probably at Stokesby Ferry. This is Norfolk, there will almost certainly be no public transport. Walking on the busy but single track roads will... More

Yes, definitely, there are ramps everywhere and also viewing ramps through the trees to see the animals close at hand. Plenty of room for you but would probably avoid a weekend when there are lots of buggies there!
