The drive from Leh to Lamayuru is very scenic. The road is very smooth and the landscape keeps changing on every turn. The moon landscape is very unusual. The monastery is also worth stopping at.

While approaching Lamayuru Village, one crosses an amazing landscape, which looks like that of moon, having large craters and uneven surfaces.

The moon land is exciting and gives a surreal feel. You transported away from our planet and feel somewhere else in this universe. The presence of human painted boards by the road only bring back us back to earth on our minds. Fantastic!

It's a nice place to visit. But you need to climb a little bit which is difficult there due to high altitude.
