When we visited there was not a lot of water. We didn't feel like it was worth the trip. The place becomes quite hot in the day time.

The way to the falls from Kanakapura is scenic with lots of fields and small villages. But the actual waterfall can be a bit disappointing if there's not enough water. The hike to the water can be hard in the harsh sun. Would recommend it...More

to reach this place you have to trek down with the help of a local. The trek itself is tough as you have to walk through tall grass, slippery treks. you should never venture into this area without a local villager guide.

It is good to visit in April, but it will be very hot. Strictly avoid venturing in to the water as it is dangerous and also there are crocodiles living deep under. So don't taje any unnecessary risks.
