To get to this place, it's a bumpy ride off the main highway. The placed is steeped in history but sadly, it is so poorly maintained - heart breaking. The monoliths are grand to look at and leaves you wondering how such huge slabs of...More

It's obvious that it must have some religious significance but looking at the sight itself create a lot of imaginative views. Boulders are really very big to appear there and shows the strength of people who would have put them.

There are many huge rocks here. There is a small plaque explaining the legend that rocks were brought here by a giant. It would be good to have more explanation. Overall a nice stop on the way from Jowai to Shillong. Roads are very good.

It's located in quite secluded place and it's almost pin drop silent. The tall megaliths were supposedly made and erected by a Jaintia warrior some 400-500 years ago. Nice to relax and away from noise

I think you made a mistake! This is not a hotel. It is a tourist attraction. There is also no sea around!
