The tomb of siraj ud dollah is on the other side of bhagirathi river which you need to cross by boat, or else there is another way, cross the bridge by tour car and then follow a narrow road of red mud to this tomb. The waterway is preferable as the road is disgusting. The tomb doesn't have any glamour or glitter at all, a very simple erection and wouldn't even be visited by people at all had it not been the tomb of this famous nawab.

This is located in Khoshbag - for reaching the place u need to cross the rive Bhagirathi and then take a rickshaw/ tuktuki (toto). Best ferry ghat to reach fastest is Sadar (lalbag) ghat near Motijheel. Rs. 2 per head and Rs. 70 per car. Yes, those bamboo boats cross SUVs as well. It also hosts 33 other graves of Siraj's blood relatives and family.

The tomb of Siraj ud daulah is kept at Khosh Bagh within a walled compound, also are situated the tomb of Alivardi Khan, a square flat roofed building inside which the grave of Alivardi Khan, Sirajuddaullah and other family members remains. In the sprawling compound with a garden are located a mosque and tombs of others. Constructed somewhere in mid 18th century. The Tuk Tuk ride from the banks of the Bhagirathi to Khosh Bagh are lush green mango orchards and are treat to eyes.

This is the Tomb of the Last Independent Nawab of Bengal, Nawab Siraj ud-Doulah. The British rule started upon the defeat of Nawab Siraj in the Battle of Plassey. Nawab Siraj lost the battle due the betrayal of Mir Jafar. Nawab Siraj is widely recognized as a great patriot throughout the Indian sub-continent (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh). He is respected person too.

This tomb is situated in the Khosbagh area of Murshidabad . It requires no entrnce fee. The garden inside it is well maintained. Howver, it does nt have 108 varities of roses which used to be here.Tourists need to cross the river Bhagirathi from the Sadarghat of Lalbagh (Murshidabad Municipality). Fare per person is 2 Rs to cross the river. Then tourist need to walk 2-2.5 km or to take a auto.

This tomb is not maintained properly, neither the area is very known to the tourists. If the place was in any other country, there would be a bridge on the river. The river is not too wide. The Government should pay attention (it is maintained by Indian Government). One cannot identify this tomb he/she does not know Urdu. Others tombs do not even have names. Tourist need to remove shoes in some parts of this place.

The tomb of Siraj-ud-Daulah is very well maintained and also houses the graves of other members of the family. It has a well maintained garden. A guide would be helpful because otherwise the tombs would not make much sense.

The tomb should be more prominent since he was the Raja there. The tomb should be inscribed in marble so that the tourists and public know that he was the Raja of Mursidabad.

The tomb of siraj lies on the other side of bhagirathi. The tomb is placed amid tombs of other royal family members. Place is clean and maintained, which is obvious, considering the limited footfall compared to his palace, and consequently there is less of littering. The place is calm and cold. You will like it.

Siraj ud-Daulah, was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. The end of his reign marked the start of British East India Company rule over Bengal. His last rest place is located in Khosh Bagh. The place is maintained well. A historic place must see..
