When we visited the falls were narrow as there was less water flow during December end. Make sure to visit just after monsoon.

Simply the best. Good for a family visit, but must be careful of kids. They may jump to water and end up in danger. Always the best.

Vazhachal falls are like an exaggeration of rapids in rivers. Those who have seen rapids in the north India will not appreciate much. However this falls are near Athirapilly falls (5km) and put together it is a fantastic opportunity to spend a day. Those who are going towards Valpari in Tamilnadu through the forest can take a short break at... More

This is close to Athirapally falls. The ticket is already included in Athirapally one. It is more like a serene river. Entry in water is not allowed, probably for safety reasons. A very serene place. Must visit. Along the river you can walk to a nearby village, but the villagers didn't look tourist friendly and so we came back,

This completely like a river not a waterdfall. If your expectinh something like waterfall, you will be disappointed then. But it is a beautiful river and nature's gift. So you can go and enjoy it but don't expect a waterfall. Nearby to this you will also get Athirappalli waterfalls & Chapra watrefalls. So in a day you can cover all... More

The waterfalls come prior to the aithrapally Falls. It's about 5km. The road to this waterfalls is beautiful as one can observe the various fauna and shady forest trees protecting you as you drive. Very less tourists present and hence was a much more quiet place. This waterfalls is located beside a huge mountain so the view is majestic. The... More

Vazhachal falls is a few min drive from Athirapally waterfalls. The entry ticket is same for both the falls. Though water is not falling from height, the view is good. It is worth taking few pics and spending some time. But we should beware of the predators in case of carrying any eatables.
