Forests, such dark lovely forests
Oct 2019
Just walking through the dark and deep lovely forests of deodars and conifers is such a pleasure. The trek is easy to moderate with both going to and back from lake having ascents and descents. It can take about 4 hours including time at the lake which is small but with lush green vegetation all around.Just go for it

Breathtaking lake
May 2019 • Couples
The Serolsar Lake is a beautiful lake and we visited it from Tirthan. You trek 6 Kms on a hilly track from Jalori pass, through a forest of Kharshoo Oak trees and suddenly you get to the majestic Serolsar Lake! Surrounded by Alpine trees, a sight to behold, held sacred by the locals .And all the trekking you did and will do was well worth it !

Amazing 6km trek
May 2018
Serolsar Lake is a beautiful lake situated at a distance of around 6 km from the Jalori pass. This lake can be reached by a trek from Shoja or Jalori Pass.Serolsar Lake is located at an altitude of 3199 m. It is surrounded by thick vegetation of alpine forests.
The Lake has a narrow walking track lined up with thick tall trees on the outer side. On one side of the Lake is a small temple of Buddha Nagini. The devotees worship and offer ghee to the deity. It is said that the lake is very deep and that Budhi Nagin herself lived in a golden palace at the bottom of the lake.

A beautiful hike to serolsar lake from Jalori pass. Serolsar lake is located 3.5 KMS away from Jalori pass. The route is full of beautiful views of mountains and valley. A must see place if you visit Jalori pass.
Fo check it's a trek of approx 3.5 kms one way, the trail is good but if you are a tourist with kids you can avoid it

Not worth for 5 km trek when you have Raghupur Fort kind of trek on the other side
Oct 2018 • Friends
We 4 friends visited Serolsar Lake on 20th Oct 2018, It's 5 KM easy trek with not so exemplary landmarks, views are ok.
We were disappointed after reaching the lake, lake is artificial with average beauty, the trek is nothing compared to Raghupur Fort trek just opposite side from Jalori Pass. So guys go for Serolsar Lake when you have completed Raghupur trek or you have physical limitation for moderate trek.
