We visited at the end of November and found it closed and under construction. There are a few photos at the hotel/restaurant next door. Beautiful outside. If you don't speak polish, use the Google translate app for signs. It is marginally effective. Little grocery store...More

Very important object for tourists. It is a beautiful synagogue in provincial town of Tykocin , which was not disturbed during WWII. One of the musts in Podlasje Region.

In less then 30 minutes you can get know not only history of Tykocin but also local jewish society and the beautiful almost 500 years synagoga.

We visited on our teacher training educational and this was a beautiful building, standing strong as a reminder of a beautiful community lost. The building is lovely and the walls of the synagogue are lovely to see.
