Saw this advertised at the tourist centre, drove half an hour only to find the place is open by appointment only. Very disappointed as it's the long weekend and when I rang to make an appointment outside their gates the owner said they're closed the...More

Making the drive there from Margaret River only to find "By Appointment Only" extremely unhappy. No where have we seen that warning, won't be back.

We visited on a cool, windy Monday. Hosted by a lovely lady, quietly enthusiastic about her products. Enjoyed many tastings and we decided to buy the Mead liqueur. Simply delicious. We will be back!

A really enjoyable experience, the owners were friendly and really knowledgeable. The mead available for tasting was delicious and has been well received as gifts to family and friends.

Honey wine in assorted flavours! Our cellar door host was the lovely owner who told us all about the process. We left with a bottle of Lemon Infused Mead to ward off this long winter chill.

Visit this Meadery often for our honey liqueur fix and stock replenishment. Unfortunately the place is on the market and may close down. The owners want to sell and relax. If still open when you go see, make sure you stay and sample the fine...More

This winery was on our list, and so it came that we went to visit it in the morning. The landlord was a sweet old lady who spend her childhood in Germany (hence the name Blackwood). The mead tastes interesting and works well with desserts

The lady that came out to serve was very polite. I tried a sweet mead wine and a beer. I will have to say it is definitely not to my liking - too sweet . But I was glad I stopped to try and I'm...More
