We have been coming here for many years as this has an excellent selection of pick your own fruit. Staff are very friendly and helpful with no pressure to buy. Produce mainly local and good quality although expensive! Open 7 days a week with long hours. Lots of unusual items to buy that you would struggle to find elsewhere. Christmas... More

If, like me you enjoy cooking with local produce when traveling, then this is the place to go. They also have a smaller outlet in the Pantiles RTW. Everything you need to produce a local "Nigella" with helpful staff and good prices.

The fruit we picked was delicious and not expensive either. We ate sandwiches, which were freshly made and taste lovely. An excellent stay for about an hour... More

If buying locally produced fruit and vegetables is important to you, forget those supermarkets and head for this farm. Either pick your own or visit the well stocked farm shop, the choice is yours. It helps if you have a car as apart from one infrequently run bus, it can be somewhat inaccessible. However, it is worth the trip as... More

We have been fruit picking at Downingbury farm every summer for about 25 years. The loss of the top field to the Hospice was sad, as it used to be the place to get the best strawberries. Now they have been planted on a couple if others sites on the farm and are back to their best. Strawberries from the... More
