The Kambly Experience in Trubschachen is one of the finest attractions in the Emmental valley. Kambly, Switzerland‘s most popular biscuit brand, has been standing for excellent quality biscuits (cookies) for more than 100 years. Explore the origins of this iconic Swiss brand and discover the secrets of the art of fine biscuit making. Taste over 100 varieties of biscuits at your heart’s content and look over our master confectioners‘ shoulders at the Demonstration Confectionary.

Join the founder of the company in his first bakery, which was reconstructed true to the original and watch him bake Bretzeli according to his grandmother's receipe.

By prior appointment you can book a baking workshop and bake your own biscuits.

If you haven't tasted them yet, you missed out on a delicious experience...big time. Totally worth the half day trip there by motorbike. Some of the most friendly service i've yet met. don't forget to buy some cookies :). especially the kambly bretzels are a must have. if you buy for more than 100.- (trust me, it's easily done), you... I admit I was a little less than enthusiastic when my wife (who lives in Switzerland) dragged me here - I mean biscuits - how exciting can it be? I was proved very wrong. Long lines of a varied amount fo biscuits with no restrictions on Tasting, it wasn't long before I picked up a few bags of varied Flavours.... More

If you're travelling around Switzerland, take the time to pop into the Kambly biscuit factory, it's really worthwhile. The factory is only a 2 minute walk from Trubschachen train station. Apart from being a factory outlet for their world famous biscuits, where you can sample all the available biccies (unlimited, within reason), check out the 'experience' which is displays and... This is a brilliant concept that could only work in Switzerland: come in and eat unlimited quantities of cookies for free! Of course, it's canny marketing and you will almost certainly buy several bags of cookies before leaving (who could resist?), but still I couldn't see the same scheme working any other place. I hiked up the nearby Napf mountain... More

If you really like the kambly biscuits or just any biscuits, believe me it's worth going there! Basically you can find all the biscuits that you want and way cheaper compared to regular resellers like coop for exemple. You can taste any biscuits for free and then decide if you buy or not.

If you are in the area of Trubschachen it definitely worth a visit !!! You can taste all Kambly's products from sweet to salty and buy them at factory prices. BUT you will not be able to visit the factory itself… there is room in the store that will present you the nice story of Kambly in a beautiful animated... More

The idea that Kambly figured is amazing - you can try more than 100 kinds of cookies and eat as much as you want without feeling bad. We also loved the coffee/bar part and the baking area inside the shop. So sad this type of marketing would not work in Hungary :(

Though we didn't have children with us, we enjoyed watching other people's children having a go at making biscuits. I have enough German to understand the excellent videos about history of Kambly and biscuit making, Only downside was limited choice in café as we were expecting to be able to order lunch. We bought lots of biscuits to bring home!

Go to Lucerne central station.Take a train from Lucerne to Bern, from platform nr 5. After approx. 50 minutes go dawn at TRUBSCHACHEN station. 100 m from tren station, You'll meet the best biscuit-chocolate factory of Switzerland named KAMBLY. If your driving by this is a must stop. Unlimited free samples of most Kambly products, which are delicious! Not really a factory tour, but a large shop with samples next to each product. A cafe is also located in the store for coffee, etc. My family snacked until they were sick! It was great!
