Toskana Park is a 15-minute walk along the Traunsee shore from Gmuden's town center. The park and area around the Abby provides a serene setting. But if you want to walk inside the Abby's walls, there's little there to see and certainly not worth the price of admission. Save those extra Euros for a mid-afternoon bier at one of Gmuden's... Wonderful scenic park within walking distance from the city of Gmunden. It features a wonderfull view on the lake and the mountains, has a historic building from the time of the monarchy, and even displays a wealth of different trees including their names. A wonderful place for a stroll, to put your feet into the lake, or to go jogging.

We walked around the park after visiting the Schlossee Ort. The park and Schloss are located close to each other. The park is well look after, with beautiful trees and lawn area near the Traunsee. We were hoping to visit the Villa Toscana cafe, but unfortunately it was closed. Perhaps it is always closed on a Monday?

This park is a must see when in Gmunden and going to that end of town. Plenty of small trails to follow and places to sit down and enjoy the view.

Nice and calm place to take a small walk or to take a little of rest. With beautifull view on Traunsee and sorrounding mountains. Close to the park there is a huge free car parking, and in the middle of park there is Toskana Castle with elegant cafe.

several walkways which offer changing vistas of the Traunstein mountain and lake including the beautiful Schloss Ort where - an island in the lake with a castle and restaurant to dine. Totally romantic and unique. You can walk to the park from downtown Gmunden in 15 minutes and this itself is quite beautiful.
