Walk up to Castle we zig zagged it is worth the walk amazing views! Take a couple of hours over it as we did stopping off at a few weird things en route. Recommend the savoury tea with super watmed cheese scones. Great tea

A great visit. Worth a view. Definitely not suitable for those who can't climb and I feel we saw it at its best in May because of the azealas and rhodadendrons.

Lovely walks up through flower laden woodland paths to the castle on the top of the hill then back down though beautifully laid out trees and shrubs.

We had a fabulous day here, so much to see and beautiful scenery. Very helpful staff. Great value for money. We will definitely be back again.

We had limited time but were still able to walk through the gardens and up to the "Castle" which had great views. I wish we had been able to stay for afternoon tea!

Due to the poor weather forecast we seemed to be the first visitors on Sunday lunchtime in early September, and after coffee in the tea hut we set off round the gardens. The Millenium Garden was still looking lovely and the walled gardens were interesting....More
