we had a great peaceful time since there's only few people on the beach in winter time. the beach and water is cold, but our son still had great time playing at the shore.

With its wonderful aspect and the Castillo above, the clean, well kept beach is nice even in winter. The sea defences were being maintained by tractor pushing up big dunes of sand against sudden high tides. Long to see it in summer!

It is gorgeous here .its easy to find parking and then walk to the beach . By now we are ready for a swim .the waves are rough and there is a big downward slope to the water and it's deep . Rally refreshing. I wouldn't recommend it for young children...as it is quite rough.

This is the main beach of Tossa de Mar but i prefer Es Codolar because is a small one. From the beach you have the most beautiful views...sea and Castillo de Tossa de Mar. Also is a very beautiful place to walking in the morning and night.

I just love this beach been to Tossa de Mar 3 times and this is the best beach to visit although it's busy and the sand/rock are hot on your feet the water is refreshing , as long as you don't swallow any as its very salty but where else is there such a wonderful view of a castle.

A very quiet and beautiful scenic place with Mediterranean on one side and the beautiful residences and hotels on the other side. Beautiful walking place in the morning and a very quiet serene beach

Large beach and not many people. The season finishes on 31st Oct so a good time to come. The sand is very gritty but clean. Sunbeds and brolly are normally 6euro each but we got them for 5 euro today. Weather still good for mid October. This fronts the lovely little town of tossa de Mar. A quiet and more... More

A long main beach in town - good sand - some beach cafes, most are on the main promonade. The town has a flash flood dry river bed that sepates the promonade from the beach. Beach is accessed over a couple of low bridges at two points. Nice

The beach has a very steep drop into the sea. It is very difficult to get out of the sea due to the steep drop from the beach. We found the beach to the left to be more child friendly

Good for strolling, swimming, snorkeling. A big slope when entering the sea can take you to undesired depths, but it is quite obvious since the water is transparent, clean.
