The beautiful beach is next to a castle which gives it a unique character and is very clean. When I visited in December, it was almost empty and there were no beach bars or water-sports. Probably more interesting in summertime.

Quite small but didn't feel overcrowded. Nice to find private and shaded spaces dotted in between the small fishing boats .

Scenery beautiful. Easy access to boats for trips. When we went beach wasn't to packed HOWEVER walking on the sand is like walking through a gravel pit. Absolutely killed the feet. 😕

Lots of flies lots of mozzies - beach bar very costly - whole town is tired drains smell vile and food over priced!

Spent hours on the beach sunbathing. Plenty of swimming and there is also plenty of water sports to try

Turquoise water, endless white sand all overlooked by an ancient castle! What more could you asked for? We took a trip on the glass bottomed boat from here and it is definitely worth it

I agree with the above thoughts. However, there are boat trips that run from the beach. You can buy your tickets from the booths which are on the beach too. And there is diving too.
