Accessible by guided tour only - there is one in English in the afternoon, this is the house of Anders Zorn, famous Swedish artist and philanthropist, who is not particularly well-known in the UK. Our guide was a role-model to all guides, a vivacious host...More

Enjoy the interesting period architecture of the residence, auxiliary residence and barn. The garden lacks any interest and appears neglected and underfunded. A tour of Zorn 's residence reveals a surprisingly modest dwelling, but perhaps more of a luxury for the period. The separate studio...More

We visited with four of our Swedish friends. Unfortunately the tour was not in English but one of my friends quickly summarized the tour guide's statements as we moved to the next room. The tour guide made herself available after the tour and was able...More

Things which may be helpful: 1) The house is expensive at $25 and the museum is extra; 2) There were no English tours so we took one in Swedish and had a English book (borrowed) to tell us what we were seeing. This worked well...More

Amazing modern house of one of the best Swedish artist Anders Zorn and his wife Emma. Built in the early 1900, it was a very modern house. The big house is very beautifully interiored. The guided tour gave a complete description of the house and...More

We went on a guided tour and thanks to the humorist, knowledgeable and time keeping guide which made it an excellent experience. Very interesting to get an insight to Anders Zorn's life. Given the reviews here on TripAdvisor we went for the house rather than...More

Impressive and unexpected hour in the former home of Anders an Emma Zorn. The guide really gave us a good sense of the past time and how they lived. Zorn was really wealthy and progressive in many ways. Do not bring small children.

Zone was not only one of Sweden's most prominent painters, he was also a man of technical curiosity and fashionable taste. The house he drew and lived in is partly inspired by the Viking's, and contains among other things one of the first telephones in...More

The Zorngården is the former home of Anders and Emma Zorn. Back in the day a hightech home mixed with all the classic Dalarnastyle handicraft and timberhousefeel. I actually liked this better than the Zornmuseum. The guides are great! You get the story surrounding the...More
