We were staying near to Faro 2 so seemed reasonable to take a look around. Only a few shops and restaurants open, the rest of the place was deserted but still had the usual shopping centre musak playing which made the place even more surreal and eerie. Would be perfect for one of those Zombie scenes from a horror movie.... More

I expected it to be worse. Yes, for the last years it is looking like the scenario of a zombie apocalypse. Most of stores are closed and the general atmosphere is really sad. But there are some restaurants open during the day with some tourists on the terraces and it makes the shopping center look a little bit happier.

This shopping centre is more than 3/4 empty. However, there are a couple of places to eat that good and prices are reasonable. There is a Hipo Dino with a good choice and good opening hours. You can also find a bike rental place here. It's a real shame the majority of the units here are empty.

It's so sad to seen the state of Faro2. Looks to be beyond repair, everywhere it's crumbled concrete, cracked tiles, empty shops and restaurants. There is only a few survivors left, but I can't help to wonder for how long. Visited only one of the restaurants, El Nublo (excellent food and service) and the HiperDino which is quite well stocked.... More

Such a brilliant original place not fully realised. A few restaurants good to eat at are here, a bike hire shop (I have used many times) Also a good supermarket. It needs more going on, they used to have a very good big flea market a few years ago on a Sunday, bring it back!

This centre in Faro 2 was a thriving place a few years back it now only has a few restaurants which are all great and a good supermarket...lots of people self catering making their way back out hopefully this place will thrive again someday..

When this first opened it was a lovely shopping center but is now practically desolate with only 1 supermarket, 2 restaurants and a shop open and the balcony areas completely closed off. It is crumbling down and when we first walked in it was like a scene from the walking dead with creepy piped music (bee gees) coming from high... More

Apart from a Spar and a little clothes shop - there really is nothing to see. There are a few bars and restaurants. I feel sorry for the owners of these as there never seemed to be many people about when we went. As it was on the doorstep of our hotel, we went here for breakfast each morning -... More
