Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I try to visit the local hotels prior booking a weekend break. So early in the morning I called the hotel to book a day by the pool, and I also asked them whether We would require any towels. The receptionist told me that there would be no need as long as we would deposit a €10 deposit per towel, which would be refundable upon return of the towels. Arriving at the hotel we were told that the policy was €15 fee, €10 as preadvised, and €5 hotel charge. Asking for the manager to try to waive off the €5 as we were not advised of such a fee, the receptionist feedback was that the manager was busy and she had no time for such a thing to talk to us about.
Dear manageress.... Just to let you know, we went to your closest hotel where we were treated much much better than you and your employees.

We went bouldering around Paradise bay. The nature is breath taking and so many rocks to climb. I recommend gloves as they are very pointy and it can hurt. Trekking is wonderful too.
We were there for 4 hours climbing the boulders. Lovely!
The beach is small, but with sand and clear green water. Be early if you want to find a space.

Beautiful Sandy beach , with pine trees around .
Clear and warm water .
There are a restaurant , toilets very well kept and clean , you can rent parasols and beach chairs at reasonable price . The best beach in the area for me .
If you like snorkelling this is the best place according to locals .

marvelous! an indisputable natural beauty with exceptional water to dive into.
Offerta you are in Malta, you have to go there!!!
However, I recommend renting a car because those who have to keep to the public transport timetables have a complicated day.

This is a nice small beach with clear water. To get there is one bus an hour or a 800m walk from the main road. There is a nice cafe there which served good good. You can hire a beach bed for €14 a day. There are 160 steps down. There are toilets and showers there too. We enjoyed it.

It's one of the best beach in the northern part of the island, you leave your car on the top of the hill and then make your way down to lots of stairs which offer a really cool view of the coast and build up the anticipation.
The strip of sand is limited which give it a "secluded beach" kind of feeling but it's almost always overcrowded and on your back you'll have a hotel/beach club rather than a completely natural environment, which some won't like.
In front of you however you'll have crystal clear water, shallow but not for too long and a beautiful panorama.
The bar/restaurant associated with the beach provides refreshments and seafood which is nice.

Area very easily accessible. A couple of places to eat and drink. Can also hire umbrellas for 5 euros. Far too busy. We were jammed like sardines as this is a very small area. Sea beautiful and area kept clean unlike other bays in Malta.

This beach is a little Maltese treasure. You have to take a bus or a car to get there (unless you are staying in one of the nearby hotels). I didn't have the experience of going there during the summer but it was very pleasant to go there in March. The shops are not open yet (certainly during the summer season) but the location is excellent.

Disappointing and generally poor. Not at all what we expected from a 4 star hotel. No indication the staff enjoyed working there anymore than guests enjoyed staying there. We booked as we were attracted by beach but it’s tiny and across a main road right next to the Gozo ferry terminal.

Hi,
Is there any lockers on or close by the beach for camera, phone and wallet?
Thank you

Hi there,
I really don’t think so unfortunately. This is supercrowdy and maybe not that smart to leave camera etc on the beach.

Qualsiasi linea di autobus diretta al porto per isola di Gozo ha come penultima fermata il bivio per la spiaggia di Paradise Bay.
Dalla fermata devi necessariamente camminare per 1,5 km a piedi.

Hi how much for 1 umbrella and 2 deckchairs pls ?
Written 24 July 2018

Just wondering what’s the best way to get from Sliema to Paradise bay by public transport? Happy to do some walking as well if need be!! Thanks!

We travelled everywhere by bus you can also get to there from valletta by ferry but we used the bus. They do get very busy but if you get on at paradise bay you are guaranteed a seat fir part of your journey. The main bus depot is in Valletta so you can get connections to other places . Hope this helps

Basically it's a sandy beach. Swimming and sunbathing was my main activities. But there is a possibility to go on boat ride. And ride inflatable objects towed by boat.
