It's a beautiful spot by itself for relaxing and swimming in safe, still waters, notwithstanding that it is touristy and commercial. The main reason to visit is for the small boat ride through the tunnel, out into the open sea. Unfortunately, on the day we visited the sea was too rough, so the boat ride wasn't operating. I could imagine though that it would be an interesting little journey - and it is cheap. There's also some nice walks for views over the coast.

If you are on the HOHO bus tour . go straight to the small boat hire only Euro 5. 25mins. then decide if you get the next bus . in 45mins time . or take your time and have a look round. toilet and snack and small restaurant there. Boat trip is fantastic.

We were lucky as the sea was calm enough for a boat ride. The water is incredibly blue, you can see a long way down. Going through the cave was a bit tight, fortunately we made it both ways without getting wet. They only take cash, and they warn you off before going and you pay before you get back to the jetty.

The Inland Sea in Malta is a magical spot! Crystal-clear waters, stunning rock formations, and the unique tunnel to the open sea make it perfect for a swim or boat ride. The serene atmosphere adds to the charm. A must-visit!
