Loved our day at green canyon, a lovely cruise from start to finish. Stunning scenery too, especially the waterfall at the end of the canyon. Lovely, cool, refreshing swim in the bright green waters. So quiet and imposing with the steep, dark sides and still waters. Absolutely the best thing we did while in the region. Wonderful.

Got train from Jakarta to Bandung, taxi to bus station and 7 hour bus to Pangandaran to do this. Did the Green Valley first with excellent guide who took photos and held my camera above the water for an hour. We glided and jumped off ledges while he snapped and took video! He then lodged the camera in the rocks... More

Green Canyon (cukang taneuh). Cukang is sundanese language which mean "Jurang" in bahasa and it is mean a Gap/gorge/ravine/cliff. Taneuh mean "land" land/soil/ground. So Cukang tanueh mean : Land Ravine. Very Amazing. You just have to boating to reach Green Canyon or by body rafting from upstream. Just go there...just go there. Very wothed..very worthed.

Crossing the green river by boat for about 45 minutes to the cave. Don't forget to bring your own spare clothes if you want to swim. You could ask the guide to wait for you while swimming and enjoying the water. He could provide a waterproof pocket for your camera and cellular phone. Bringing a camera is a must here!

The boat is 150.000 for 6 people takes about 45 minutes: 30 for go and back, 15 for swim. We come here with children and its safe enough because the crew gave safety fest every each of us. the river is clean enough and you can also jump from high big rock to the river for adrenaline rush

Really nice to do with kids. Floating through the river with nice views. If you have a private guide ask to go a bit further to avoid the crowds
