This is a great find. It's only £1 per ride. My son enjoyed it. Going though the tunnel is fun. Well worth the visit. Few things to note, you have to walk though the garden centre to get to it, but there's loads of free parking. Sometimes they can't run the steam trains so they replace it with a Diesel... More

This little Railway is run very professionally and seems to be enjoyed by adults and children alike. My Grandchildren always want to go on it whenever we visit the Garden Centre. It is inexpensive with "proper" tickets ..

Went here today with our 3 kids (3,5 and 10yr old) and the in laws. They were running a small diesel engine in the morning and a steam engine later on. Its £1 per person per ride and you get 2 laps through the tunnel and over the pond bridge. The kids (and me!) Loved it. Its run by enthusiasts... More

This is part of Van Have garden centre which is lovely. Also has animals . Back to this train ride it's £1 each after 2 year old. Our grandson loved it we did it twice and had a struggle to prize him away from it. Lovely little steam trains enjoyed it myself. Whole complex worth a visit.

Lovely miniature railway. I don't know who was more excited, I (40 years old) or my kids (4 and 2 years old). We love the steam locomotives, the smell, the sound, steam chuffs, rail clatter... The area is not too large, but very well maintained and there is a pond, bridge, tunnel, station. Prices are extremely reasonable (£1 per journey,... More

Definitely the best miniature railway in the area. Our little ones love going round on the train. Staff are always helpful and friendly. They often do open weekends where they open the railway to others to bring in their own trains that the public can ride on.

Simple, charming miniature railway with working steam trains and only £1 a ride. Highly recommended for young families as it's located in the Van Hage Garden Centre.

My grandsons love coming to ride the trains.. Most school holidays we go at least once. Prices are extremely reasonable which means they can ride several times. The people who work there are very friendly .

I visited this one afternoon with my kids and they absolutely loved it. The miniature railway is at the back of a beautiful garden centre, I could spend hours in there. There is also an animal corner for the children, which is completely free and offers many activities during the holidays, my kids loved watching the tortoise races. The miniature... More
