A small bay and local fishing port with some beautiful vistas. When we were there in May, there were no food, drink, or beach loungers etc open. Just us and one or two others on the pebbled shoreline, along with a handful of yachts that...More

We hired a boat from the lovely Regina in Fiscardo and part of our day was spent here at Polis Beach on Ithaca. It is a small pretty harbour with some small fishing boats moored up. There was plenty of spare space for our hire...More

We had a great day on this beach, unusually it has sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, and also has the advantage of a cantina serving fresh salads and light lunches. Spectacular views, a great beach manager in Takis - even if he says so himself...More

This beach is only small but it is sweet and good for swimming when it is not windy. The unassuming cantina is brilliant and really surprised us. We had a great and inexpensive lunch of greek salad and Calamari. The portions were generous and the...More

Lovely tavern, friendly staff and an absolute pleasure to sit there watching the world go by. Cheapest drinks we have found in along time. Polis bay is a wonderful beach, perfect swimming and excellent walks.

Easy to drive to. Beach attendant entertaining and helpful. If peak holiday season better to get there earlier in the day to get lounge chairs and umbrella. Kiosk caters quite well. Water very clean and clear. No sand, a pebble beach, beach shoes required.

The water is so blue and clear, and warm. Stunning views, not too busy. Would definitely recommend! You might want to bring some beach shoes, as the pebbles can be quite painful.

If you like sea with small stones and rocks you have to visit this beach. Sun bed, umbrella and a small cantine.
