"vaaraNam aayiram suuzha valam seidhu naaraNa nambi nadakinraan enredhir pooraNa porkudam veithu puramengum thoraNam naatta kana kanden thozhi naan...." To stand in the birth place of Goddess Andal was an amazing experience! And a divine darshan of Lord Ranga Mannar was truly blissful!

Grand temple, unique in the region and special because it is Andal's home. Beautifully decorated after the last samprokshanam. Highly recommend visiting it on your next trip to Madurai.

Ancient....Soodi kodutha sudrkodi andal temple... ..Do ensure you do pooja for andal Parrot... you would be given a parrot made of leaves..so divine.....one of the must visit temples of tamilnadu... the official logo of TN govt is this temple tower
