Welcome aboard Winona, our 50-foot, Polynesian style sailing catamaran!...

Welcome aboard Winona, our 50-foot, Polynesian style sailing catamaran! Winona is U.S.C.G. Certified for a maximum of 49 passengers, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate large groups while still being cozy enough for smaller, intimate gatherings.

She has a 3/4 covered cabin area to protect you from the sun and wind, and her large viewing windows allow you to still enjoy the views outside from her covered seating area. Her open deck is spacious and provides plenty of outside seating and areas to sunbathe. Winona's "Stairway to the Sea" allows easy access to and from the ocean for snorkelers and swimmers. She is equipped with two restrooms for your convenience.

The dress code on Winona is casual to resort attire. We suggest flat, soft-soled shoes or sandals. Hard sole or high heel shoes are not recommended. Winona does have nonskid decking so bare feet are welcome. We recommend you bring along sunglasses, a hat or visor, waterproof sunscreen and a beach cover up to help protect you from the sun. Towels are provided.

Our helpful staff will provide instructions and then equip you with all you need for a spectacular snorkeling experience! Mask, Fins and Snorkel sets or View Boards with built in windows are available to start your adventure. We offer everyone a safety vest and defogger to help keep your experience both safe and fun!

If you would like a special keepsake of your group's event, let us know. We can arrange professional video services (above and below the surface) for your group at an additional cost.

For individual travelers staying on the Resort's grounds, the hotels provide free shuttle service to and from our departure and arrival locations.

Our Captains and Crew look forward to assisting you in creating wonderful memories of your stay in Hawaii!

Awesome times with Mauna Launi Sea Adventures

Great crew. Great boat. Great snorkeling and whale watching and sunset cruises. They have everything on board that you would ever need. We did them all and will do them again.

This group is GREAT! Not just the beauty of the dive but the attention to detail and safety by the dive master (Gary). For those of us who are getting on in years it is most helpful to have a dive master and team that makes entry and exit from a small dive boat slick and easy. Bravo to the... More

This was the best Hawaii whale watching trip I ever experienced and I have been on several very good ones over the years. They warned us with a call last night that the wind might cause a cancellation but were hopeful that we could keep the schedule. They said they would call early in the AM if they had to... More

I did my 4 dives in order to complete my dive certification at Mauna Lani Sea Adventures. All of the dive masters were welcoming, relaxed, and extremely helpful in allowing me to complete my certification, feel at ease under the water, and see some amazing creatures! The company was clearly experienced, prepared, and excited to show us the world underwater.... More

Safe, comfortable, professional, top everything. Unlike bigger boats, you are assisted with everything, especially entry and exit from the ocean. You see many wonderful things, and there is really no better dive experience available. I have dived with these guys for almost ten years when we come to Mauna Lani for a number of weeks in the winter.

Crew was knowledgeable, laid back, and funny. Boat was clean, spacious, large enough to accommodate a bigger crowd than we had in our tour (lots of room to move around and get new views). We saw TONS of whales. The crew obviously can't control the sea life, so that part was certainly some amount of luck, but they gave us... More

We really enjoyed the combo trip of whale watching and snorkeling that this company provided. Great crew and we appreciated the information provided about whales and the reef. Light snacks and drinks provided. Just a great time with not a lot of extra unnecessary things. We recommend this company for a economical, wonderful adventure.

We had an outstanding trip. 2 whales went under the boat and stayed along side for several minutes. Our experience was amazing. I'm sure there can be some variability in the behavior of the whales. The crew was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly.

This was our fourth whale watch throughout the years and it was by far the best! Captain Don and his crew were great and accommodating. We had two humpbacks come beside our boat and we had to have viewings of at least 15. It was a great experience and the kids absolutely loved it! Do not miss out on this... More
