This was the first beach we went to, and we couldn't resist returning multiple times. How could you improve upon it? Soft, white sand, clear, blue water, warm, gentle waves for swimming.

Great sandy beach. Decent waves, about 2-4 feet so try boggie boarding. Cost $5 to enter park but worth it. Plenty of parking with restrooms. Not a good snorkeling area, just swimming or boarding only.

The white sand is soft, like flour. The sun is abundant and the surf is calm. Perfect beach experience. The waves are great for boogie boarding and body surfing. It gets crowded by mid morning, so go early if you want to avoid the crowd....More

The beach is nice and clean. The water was clear and calm. Make sure to take water shoes and the shore has rocks as you walk into the water.

Amazing sand and amazing water! We normally go to the beach at our hotel since we hate carrying things around. This beach is worth hauling your stuff from the car to the beach!

I'm unfamiliar with the public transportation? Uber? I would recommend a car.
What time did you go if I want to snorkeling at Hapuna Beach. I heard that you have to be there in the early morning to see turtles and fish.

Hi there! We usually went in the later morning for a few hours. But truthfully, we didn't see any turtles and only some fish near a rock. We were told about a snorkelling place (as we were leaving of course lol), that was... More

Yes, you can! All beaches are public & you can access them after hours, you can even swim, if you want, but it will be at your own risk: it will be dark during winter hours and no guards on duty. You can park your car at... More
