I have been there several times but never managed to visit the site. It only opens in the Summer, from Wed to Sun, and closes for lunchtime. Though it is not the same, if you have a boat, you can appreciate quite a nice view...More

Roman ruins of Tróia were an amazing surprise The place is well preserved and has lots of quite good buildings from ages ago Take a hike with your family, and discover the history and the importance of Tróia during the Roman Empire Enjoy!

There are very good guides showing the place and explaining the roman presence in Portugal. The tickets are very cheap. Go with time , that is not a quick visit. very interesting.

If you like history and you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend a trip here. Not a big site, so easy to do in an hour and it's only €4 entry. Worth checking opening times on the website and guides are available in the morning...More

The restored ruins give an interesting insight into the Roman trade with salted fish.The walk goes along the salting factory, the necropolis, a small mausoleum, the baths and one residential building. Part of the ruins can also be seen from the ferry boat or catamaran...More

Coming from Setubal by the catamaran, this for people without a car, you arrive at the “Resort” and so you will have to walk a certain distance before you are at the location, when arriving with the ferry and by car, than follow the signs...More
