We visited with three young children who were very excited to see where Queen Victoria once lived. We were offered a safe place to leave the buggy whilst we walked aroud which was helpful. The house is beautiful, and the children enjoyed the grounds - lots of long swaying grass to play in on the walk to the beach. The... More

we spent a great day at this attraction. The house is very interesting and the staff full of information.. The grounds are nicely laid out and the Swiss cottage is in a beautiful setting. Easy to get to with first class public transport. Helpful for less able people

Had a brilliant day out at this property. With this being Queen Victoria's holiday home it was very elegant and refined being restored to original condition. The gardens are a pleasure to walk around with extended walks down through wooded areas to her private beach (obviously). The Swiss Cottage (her children's play house) is an eye opener being the size... More

Fete not as good as we had hoped and little for young children to do. We felt very unwelcome in the house its self as very busy and staff seemed unable to cope and appeared rude at times so left after short time not a visit to remember sadly ! would like to add English Heritage staff quite pushy when... Fantastic events during school holidays. The Victorian fete had a continuous events programme, interesting shows at various places and the biggest collection of victorian games that I have ever seen. Staff are always on hand to help and explain how to play. My grandson was particularly taken with ringing the bell by hitting the block with a hammer, especially because... More

Osborne House is a stunning house to visit, taking a look back at the retreat of Queen Victoria & Albert. The walks are also fantastic with stunning trees and also dog friendly grounds.

We visited Osborne House as a special Queen Victoria fete was taking place. Unfortunately it was a bit cold for a fete which wasn't as Entertaining as we had hoped.
