Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I know beaches, clubs and other naturist locations around the world. Massarandupió is by far the most beautiful and pleasant of all. And it's right there, less than 2 hours from Salvador on the north coast of Bahia. Regulated by law, with stalls serving food, snacks and drinks. It has the beach itself, which is already stunning, and there is also the area behind the dunes, cut by an incredible stream and a stunning landscape.

Nudism beach without any protection. Peoples dressed all around. Not any kind of camping facilities.

Me and my girlfriend decided to visit a nudist beach the first time in our lives. It all went well, until we went to a place where there were no people to take some pictures of ourselves. The guy from the beach bar followed us in his sand buggy and cheerfully offered a ride around the dunes (he was dressed, we weren't). I said no, but my attractive girlfriend went - a little naïvely of us - with him. Once around the corner, he took off his clothes and tried all sorts of tricks to get her to touch him down there... she managed to get out of the situation, and after 10min they came back, I was scared stiff. His name is Heladio. Don't trust him.

Very difficult place to access with public transport, but the beach is very nice. Be careful with people interested in more than friendship due to the naturist.

Access to the beach is via a dirt road. Most of the stretch is quiet, but there is the possibility of getting your car stuck in the sand.
