We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful waves crashing into the jagged volcanic coastline of Terceira. The Atlantic is very beautiful in the Winter season with a continual flow of waves.

The colours of the Ocean ranged from a teal blue to a deep green depending on what lay beneath. You can see the beauty and power of the waves.

We decided to take a leisurely drive along the coastal road instead of the main highway and were pleasantly surprised at the incredible views along the way including a stop here at the viewpoint for photos. The locals have done an amazing job for tourists to have these situated along the ocean to see Split Rock, Goat Island and many different natural swimming places up close. This road also gives you the opportunity to travel through many interesting towns and villages with local shops along the way.

We followed the road along the water and at times it looked like you were driving right down into the ocean. Make sure your car has good breaks. This viewpoint is pretty and you get a good view of the two islands. Only about ten minutes from Angra

Simple overlook with great views. There’s also an easy trail along side for about 1-2 blocks by padlocks with chickens and goats.

This is one of the best viewpoints to "Ilheu das Cabras". So enjoy and take some pictures of the "Ilheus".

This was amazing. Our tour guide, Gui Bruges, took us up there. Simply fantastic. Gui owns Tourist Activities and he is superb!

We stayed at Alluar Lodge right at this Miradour (outlook) and could see Sao Jorge and Pico in distance.

A great walk way that leads here. A great place for pictures and a relaxing evening walk. Great for those who like to hear the waves hit the rocky shore below. The experience of being on an island like Terceira.

This viewpoint is a short drive off the main highway and similar if not better views are available from the highway so may not be worth the diversion.

This lookout was very well paced, and on a clear day has really good vantage points to the volcanic rocks. Nice place for a few pictures
