This canal boat lift replaces 4 much smaller ones which look far more attractive. We drove round the outside and saw a barge being lowered. Didn't go inside but worth a visit just to see the scale of the structure.

This is an amazing feet of engineering. We stayed on the free Motorhome parking place right beside the marina. Well worth a visit.
