The collection here is unlike any I have seen before. We only chanced by as a pit stop between adventures but I could easily spend years in these vast halls. It is very, VERY cheap entry ($5) to see absolutely everything and anything you could...More

Have passed the entrance on many occasions during our visits to Tirau but as it was raining hard we thought we would take shelter undercover in the museum. What a surprise it was. The entrance does not do it justice although there is a picnic...More

This is a private collection that has such a wide array of bits and pieces that you will amble along being reminded of all the things you or your parents or their parents had and used. Much of the memorabilia is just as it was...More

Such a different type of Museum and wonderful to be able to learn about the town and surrounding area. Very pleasant staff and in the town a great cup of coffee and food. A delightful museum and one not to be missed.
