I think this was opened to show tourists all types of animals that can be found in Madagascar - but you are unlikely to spot all of them in the wild so come see the remainder in this awful place. The animals are all kept...More

The guide was really great. After he had heard that we just arrived to Madagascar that day and haven't seen any lemurs yet, he took us up the hill where we could see brown lemurs and beautiful sifakas. It was quite a surprise, we were...More

It's really a great pity that the owner does not maintain these facilities better. I really feel sorry for the animals that are kept in horrible cages.

This was my opportunity to get some amazing photos of at least a dozen different species of chameleons, some of which we had seen along the roadside but we could not get close enough to get good photos. We also saw fruit bats, geckos, and...More

This is the place to see reptiles like chameleons up close. There are a number of enclosures to enter and view first hand. It was a nice place to stop and take a break enroute from Tana to Andasibe. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke...More

stopped here on our way to Andasibe NP; it's small, privately run and has animals in large enclosures. It's pretty basic and it not a flash zoo. There are chameleons, iguanas, geckos, tiny native frogs, bats and a small number of butterflies. Also 1 snake...More
