We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A place for finding yourself, not something that words could describe... The perspective changes every Sunday when the community gets together and brings to life every corner of this peaceful and quiet place.

The cathedral has recently been renovated to a very good standard and the Mantegna statue of St Eufhemia is well displayed. The opening times are on a small notice board outside the from door. Remember it's a working Cathedral so be respectful.

This is an interesting Cathedral - restyled as Baroque with its Romanesque bell tower beautifully intact. Inside are some wonderful statues and paintings, not least S Eufemia attributed to Mantegna - her beautiful long golden hair, her exquisite expression, all in stone with its original paint definitely suggest the hand of the master; see the Donatello-like crucifix over the high altar and don't miss the beautiful statues of the madonna and child in the side chapels. Below the Cathedral is a huge crypt, the foundations of the current building's predecessor. Mass is around 5 pm each evening and around 10.30 on Sundays when you are sure to find the doors open.

A treasure chest of unmissable works of art. Above all, the only sculpture ever created by Andrea Mantegna, the Sant'eufemia. The Cicerone who illustrated everything to us, including stories, anecdotes and nursery rhymes, the very nice Vito Grazio. Highly cultured self-taught and Irsinese DOC, or rather... "Montepelosano" DOC! Thank you!
