Good walk of about 3 1/2 miles around with plenty of opportunities ro lengthen the walk. Lots of bird life. The innovation centre was open but the cafe had a very poor selection of food and... More

This is an excellent place for a low-key visit to somewhere natural, albeit man made. The visitor centre by the entrance gates has W/Cs and a friendly little café serving drinks and snacks with - you can sit outside with dogs. Another café at train station by speedboat club is also friendly, and allows dogs inside, which is great at... More

We popped out for an early walk. It was brilliant on a sunny autumn morning. Great way to start a weekend. And a decent little pokemon hunt.

A working railway and at Christmas they have a trip to see santa. There's jet boats over the far side and... More

With close links to Tamworth, decided to visit on the spare of the moment with the kids. A five year old boy and 11 year old girl. Easy access, free car parking and lots of space to boot. We visited the kids play park which was small, had a few little slides and a swing. Kept the kids entertained for... More
