Nice views and old paintings on walls in a great Castell. I did with a tour but was not a great adventure. Just go by your self of get a transportation.

My Husband and I were looking forward to appreciating this romantic edifice. The drive from Parma was pleasant and easy, but we found the castle sitting on top of a small hill, looking rather lonely, with only 2-3 other visitors walking through it's rooms. You need to purchase a ticket at €4.00 per person, there are no maps, no other... More

The lady working at the Castle kindly gave us a tour and gave us so much interesting facts that a specially trainer guide won't be able to tell us. Loved this place.

Self-guided tour. Each room has a label so you know where you are located. You are given a brochure with information about the castle and a map when your purchase your ticket. This castle has great artwork on the ceiling and walls in the bedrooms and great hall. It is in really good shape considering its age.

The castle was easy to reach from Parma. There was ample parking. The castle was stunning, the views across the valley and the plain were beautiful. The preservation was very impressive. The entrance fee was only €3 per person. Very good value. Highly recommended

This castle is not only well preserved and well situated, it is also a true marvel with it's empty and richly decorated rooms. What we found truly fantastic was the well preserved kitchens. Being there it is very easy to imagine how it was "back then". The views from the castle are fantastic, and it is so easy to spend... More

if you are travelling around the beautiful Parma and surroundings, you cannot miss this piece of treasure from the middle ages. This castle is unique because integer and perfectly set like a precious stone in a village which is like it was built some centuries ago. History, fashion, atmosphere, everything is giving you the scent and atmosphere from the time... More
