Great walking with beatiful scenary and superb views. The walk to Soap Cove is short and it's a great beach in Summer. The walk to Hope Cove is much longer but the views over looking Hope Cove are magical.

Beautiful views out to sea, especially in good weather. An easy walk for all abilities also, as mostly flat.

Bolberry Down has a large car park right at the cliff edge and is a good starting point for arguably the best coastal walk in the country (towards Salcombe) or the easier and less scenic descent to Hope Cove via Bolt Tail. Plus there's the excellent Port Light pub.

I love Bolberry Down and the walking is fairly level in either direction. There is a steeper section if you venture down to Soar Mill Cove but in the other direction the walk down to Hope Cove is more gentle. The Port Light Cafe has closed down at present but there's a lunch stop at the Soar Mill Cove Hotel... More

We love clifftop walks and walks around Bolberry Down are as good as any. Some of the National Trust paths are wheelchair friendly. The views at Bolt Head are lovely yet many walkers don't bother to walk to its end - do bother as it's well worth it.

We walked on the South West Coast Path to Hope Cove and enjoyed beautiful weather and stunning scenery along the route. There are plenty of places to stop and admire the view too.

Sadly no pub anymore for that much needed refreshment after a mornings walking but the views are to die for, we love this place the walking is not too scary and near the cliff edge. The Sour Mill Hotel does great coffee and sandwiches and is a decent walk from Bolberry Down

If you enjoy walking this area is for you. We stay in Hope Cove every year with all our family plus a dog. Walking to Salcombe we feel isnt sign posted well enough and is confusing. But the end of this walk approaching Salcombe the views are fantastic. Also from Hope Cove to Bantham.
