We opted for a day trip, with four trips to different areas of the reef. Two in the morning, back to shore for a delicious lunch, and back out in the afternoon for two more. The waves were pretty big, on the day we chose to snorkel. This made for a difficult swim sometimes, and reduced visibility. The reef was... More

I was getting my dive certification through WetSet Dive Shop in Puerto Morelos. One of the training dives is to ojo de agua cenote, just a short swim from the beach. Enroute we saw 100's of fish, coral, and aquatic plant life! An easy dive, but definitely worth your time!!

My wife and I spent 2 hours snorkelling with Marina Oho de Agua. Lucky for us, it was not overly busy so we got a private tour of the local coral. Our guide was friendly and helpful, and took the time to guide us through much of the coral, pointing out fish etc. Although I was not entirely stoked on... More

We took a taxi from Cancun to Puerto Morelos one day to find another snorkel team who was not taking a trip until 1:00 pm. He walked us down to this great find. We waited for two other couples and were taken out to two places on the reef. Jose and Jose were our guides. There was one other guide... More

After asking around for a "great" snorkeling adventure, we were advised to go to Puerto Morelos to a local snorkeling company. So glad we did. The guides took their time to show us some amazing reefs and fish. I cant wait to go back and do it again!!

We went down to Puerto Morelos because our concierge at the Westin Lagunamar recommended it for the best snorkeling in the area, so we grabbed a taxi (cost one way around $35 US) and headed down there. She told us to go to the Ojo de Agua hotel so we did not knowing what to expect. We found a quaint... More

Marino Ojo de Agua in Puerto Morelos is simply the best snorkeling outfit we've found. My mother and I had a fabulous time with Crispin in January; one morning we went out at 8 am and saw 4 spotted eagle rays. Mom has been a loyal fan of Mario's for about five years. On this trip we saw barracuda, lion... More

From the booking of the snorkel trip all the way through to getting the CD was very positive. Our guide, who they called "Crispy Bacon" (who knows) was excellent. He was clear, kind, considerate and took good car of us. He uses the underwater camera and takes photos of us and the reef and fish. An extra $20 for the... More

We went snorkeling with our family yesterday. Two of the young kids were first time snorkels and the guides were very patient. They took their time with us and made sure the kids stuck with the adventure and still felt safe. We went to two different reefs which weren't spectacular but still fun and cheap considering we were out for... More

My husband and I have been snorkeling a couple of times in the Riviera Maya area and we wanted to make sure we had a better experience this time around. We walked 40 minutes down the beach to Puerto Morales from the Ocean Coral and Turquesa. We didn't even make an appointment, just showed up and were taken out immediately.... More
