Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We've never done a wine tour or wine tasting
This was very good fabulous selection of wines all from the vineyard vines.

From the moment we drove in the driveway we were greeted by kind, helpful and energetic people. Once we went into the visitors centre we met Laurent we felt overwhelmingly welcome. Laurent was absolutely amazing. Very open to beginners into the world of wine and spoke to us we respect and passion for his work. We understood everything he told us and left with fantastic bottles of wine. Could not recommend the experience more.

We arrived without an appointment and were met by the very friendly owners Sylvie and Laurent. Informative tour of the vineyard with great historical detail finished off with an in depth wine tasting. Would highly recommend, we did of course come away with 9 bottles of exceptional wine.

Arrived without appointment and was made to feel very welcome by friendly staff. Undertook self guided tour with help of brochure and video which was in English. Very interesting place and beautiful views. Really good to see the whole process of how the wine is made and where this is done. Tasting at the end and purchased some great wines. The staff were more than accommodating and very helpful. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

We came to the chateau without an appointment, but we were welcomed in the perfect way. Very friendly people, who immediately gave us a tablet and brochure with all the information we needed to do a tour in and around the chateau. In this tour, you can learn all about the chateau, the family and the process of winemaking.
A beautiful place with a great history.
After the tour, we were invited to do a lovely winetasting. Great wines and very reasonable prices.
We will come back!

Laurent is a 4th generation wine maker and it shows! The knowledge he and his wife Sylvie impart is fascinating and the wine is just
spectacular. My favorites are the white Reserve 2018, the red Reserve 2015 and their Rose is the best! The sweeping valley views, the unusual garden art, makes this a very special place to visit

Group of 15 visited today for a wine tasting tour. Great experience, our host Anais was brilliant, so helpful and informative, spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for her. Would recommend this tour to any wine buffs out there. It’s rare here in this region of France to find a Chateau that takes the trouble to set places out for you to properly sit, taste and learn about the wines so a big thank you for making us feel so welcome.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Chateau Belingard. We had the privilege of meeting Sylvie and Laurent and they were great. The wine was delicious, the grounds were breathtaking, history was impressive and we feel so fortunate to have been recommended by our hotel to visit Belingard.

We read some reviews about the Chateau and decided to go there as it was really close to our living. At the Chateau we got a nice walk around the facilities and got guidance from a brochure. After this the head of the castle invited us to enjoy his wines. And indeed we did.
Hospitality, service and knowledgeable staff. A must if you are in the area. Now we just long to try the wines we bought.
