Lovely working windmill, also has a working railway, museum and some lovely quaint shops. Have enjoyed a coffee in the garden hidden at the back of the windmill. Holds several different activities during the summer months

Just got back from a fantastic day with our Year 1 class visiting Waltham Windmill. The children have had a brilliant day learning about how the windmill works from 'Windy Miller'. They have also enjoyed a ride on the steam train and had a super time looking round the museum and listening to Mike tell us all about the different... More

A lovely interesting place to visit to see a working windmill, which is very rare these days. Also nice little shops around the windmill and a lovely old railway carriage cafe to stop and have a coffee, ice cream and snacks.

4 of us came in a wet miserable Saturday. Loved the place. Very charming. Well presented. Cheer us up in a wet day. Well preserved. Cup of tea and toast in the railway carriage went down a treat. Well done to all !

First time visiting here and what a superb place, we walked to the top of the windmill and were very lucky that it started turning. What a lovely sight. There is also a great museum and some small shops. Very highly recommended

Had a lovely picnic today and the weather played a great part. The windmill was open and we had to climb to the top of it. The stairs are a but scary but we'll worth the effort

My niece and I both enjoyed our trip to the windmill. It is a bit of a hike to the top but well worth it, not only for the views but for the informative plaques found on each level which describe what happens there when the mill is working. Well worth the entrance fee.
