This is one of the most spectacular trips in the world, looking 860 meters down vertically on ships that pass in the shadow of the mountain. The cliff has quite an overhang in most places, surreal to it watch up close. The crack that divides...More

Trip from Hunskår is very steep, but the view improves as you ascend. Sherpas have improved the ascent with stone steps, both at the beginning and at the plateau at about 700 m.a.s.l. Necessary to bring plenty of food, water is available many places as...More

The view from the top is simply stunning! As said previously, you can choose between two marked paths. There is the easy path from Berle, and the thougher one from Hunskår. The path from Hunskår offers a very steep terrain, but is rewarding in terms...More

Amazing hiking trail fra Hunskår to the top, beautiful scenery and landscape. Tough but worth it, you'll get your reward once at the top! A must do in western Norway. Looking down from the top, 860m straight down to the fjord gives you butterflies!

Demanding but truly awarding hike to the highest seaside cliff in (Northern) Europe. Steep trail and will take the average person 7-9 hours but is worth it.
