Seven of us attended for a wine tasting and enjoyed 6 wines selected by the sommelier of the day. These were served with a platter of cheese, biscuits and olives. The wines were pleasant and the setting was nice amongst the grapevines.

We visited Obsidian on Thursday as part of a wine tour, would highly recommend visiting this vineyard. It is a small boutique vineyard but many delicious wines. The lady who worked there was relatively new to the company but she was knowledgable of the wines and offered us a selection of wines with cheese, crackers and olives. We tried 5... More

Another great experience in Waiheke Island. The team at this vineyard were very engaging level to clearly run through the wine in the history of vineyard. In some fantastic wines (good enough to join the club :-)) to get them regularly. A wonderful find.

We only decided to come here on a whim, after passing by when we turned up the wrong road after a visit to Onetangi beach. So glad we did. The cellar door is down a dirt track (most of the best places on the island seem to be) and tucked onto the side of a big barn, the whole thing... More

We went here for a wine tasting on our tour of the island. The wines - especially the reds - were very good here. They were also more reasonably priced than the other vineyards we visited. It was the only place we bought a bottle. Owner was friendly as well.

Best wine i have ever tryed. Excellent. Great visit. The host knew a lot about the area and the reason behind the name of the vineyard. Very much worth a visit.
