From arriving at the front of the inn, where a member of staff was cleaning the area and gave a friendly greeting, the visit was pure enjoyment. The staff were friendly yet professional; the ambience just lovely - cosy, low beams etc; food delicious. Prices...More

Knowing there had been yet another change of management we stopped by this once lovely establishment with the idea we might have lunch. From the outside it looked very cheerful, lots of plants, but that's where the cheerfulness stopped. The landlady didn't give us the...More

We dined here a few weeks ago, the place was very very busy. Food was lovely, and staff on we're pleasant but clearly stretched. Great evening had by us, we will be back

I had been taken to the Chequers for lunch (in the bar) a few weeks back and it seemed to tick all the boxes. Based on this visit, I decided to take my wife there for a wedding anniversary meal. We were 'greeted' by 'the...More

It is in a village called Well. About 20 mins from Farnham. Near Odiham and Long Sutton. Certainly worth a visit or 2. Lady Sarah Pearson-Brown
