Brilliant day out! My kids loved it! And so did we to be honest 😂 didn’t have to queue long for the rides, place was clean and well maintained. Easy to find.
Nic Tim and Jess went above and beyond for my family. Amazing staff! So happy! Those 3 members of staff deserve a mention for their care and attention. Flawless!

My children and I had the best day. Lots has changed since our last visit and the most noticeable was the staff.
Today they were all amazing especially Ellie, she took amazing photos at the beginning and made my boys feel so happy and comfortable to start their journey in Lego land. It was a really enjoyable day, we met Ellie again at the end when we collected our photos and she was still so super cheery and smiley, she explained all the photo options to us so simply.
She is definitely an asset to your Lego land discovery centre

Bit of a mixed bag this one. Lego, of course, is lovely. Being an indoor venue, this is not a large Legoland. The display of built Lego models is very small and looked decidedly past its best; a shabby railway station with half-dismantled tracks, and models that look a bit old-fashioned; neither big enough to impress, nor good enough to compete with things you can buy and build yourself. It was probably a good thing that the lighting effects plunged it into darkness for a bit as we walked through.
The play area is better. Unfortunately if you fancy building your own car to try on the ramps and race-tracks (a great activity) you'd better be good at building with only axles and wheels, because there weren't many parts for the body of your car.
The ninja activities are good; and my kid enjoyed the VR roller-coaster, but of course you pay extra for this, on top of an appreciable entrance fee. When you pay the entrance fee for a conventional theme-park, you have to endure a complete day of free access to real roller-coasters, so choose which you want!
I got the feeling that staff enthusiasm was a product of Merlin corporate image-building rather than genuine desire to be in a Lego centre. The only person who seemed truly enthusiastic about Lego was a lady in the shop. Do remember that you can use your Lego VIP card to get a 10% discount in the shop, even though it's not part of the Lego chain.
I'd single out the 4d cinema as the highlight. This showed a great film from the Lego cops-and-robbers series (an enduring hit!) and was technically extremely good, as well as very entertaining. This film elevated things from a bit of a disappointment to a decent trip.

The Scottish girl in the cinema was fantastic, she was really enthusiastic and made it an exciting experience.

Will on the bracelet section was asking everyone how their day went and was all around lovely.

There was a girl doing the trading cards, I didn’t catch her name but she had glasses and long dark hair, it began with an L. But she was very pleasant and my niece really enjoyed interacting with her.

It would have been nice to have known how to use the trading cards and treasure map at admission, rather than half way through my visit, but it was fun to do when I knew what to do.

All round lovely attraction and the staff made it a great experience

So I booked a dual ticket with the sealife centre. My daughter has just turned 8. Really enjoyed our morning here. The highlight for us was the medieval ride at the beginning and the 4D cinema. We went on the medieval ride twice (mainly to get a better photo but to also improve our scores) There are lots of activities in the main room, the theme was pirates for our visit and you could build a pirate ship and then the section with the car building was lots of fun. The reasons I have given it 4 stars and not 5 are that I thought some of the staff could be a little more interacting and enthusiastic with the kids, the guy on the medieval ride was great and I only wish I had took his name to pass the feedback on whereas some of the staff looked as if they didn’t even want to speak to you. The 2nd reason was the VR experience I felt this was way over priced for the length of the experience. I was filmed on it and it lasted 1 minute and 46 seconds approximately and for £5 per person that's alot. The staff member on that ride couldn't have been less enthusiastic which didn't help our overall experience, plus it doesn’t look like the photos of individual booths of two it’s just a long row of seats. If I had seen someone else go on first and how long it lasted I wouldn't have wasted my money.
Overall I would recommend it as a place to go for lego crazy kids and adults.
Just to add I think it's wrong that it's cashless across the whole site. It's unfair to force people into using a card when cash is legal tender.

Their were a lot of activities listed but after travelling for over a hour from Stoke-on-Trent to Manchester, which in itself was not a nice experience due to horrible road layouts in Manchester itself. We arrived to find that their wasn’t enough to do their. The listed activities were very scaled down and their was very little to do that would no way keep you busy for the day and barely kept you going for 3 hours allocated. We ended up riding a far few times on the rides to use up the time and constantly revisiting areas to warrant the price.
Definitely not worth the trip on the busy motorway.
Would of been better to maybe visit the sealife centre included in the price not costing more, a lot of families can not afford the extra cost to do both along with buying food whilst their and high petrol prices. The vr was a rip off at £5 each booked online for a less than 5 minutes experience. Their should be no extra charge for this.
The photos to buy were very expensive.
Worked very hard to still make the day fun for my 6 year old daughter by building lots and riding a lot on the rides but very hard to keep her amused.
Very disappointing, will not be travelling their again or any other discovery centre.
Apart from this the staff were very pleasant and delivered excellent customer service so no complaints in this area.
Thank god didn’t have to pay extra for the rides.

I visited with my nephew and pre booked the creative workshop. We ended up being the only people on the session and had James W looking after my nephew. He was simply outstanding and a superb ambassador for the Lego brand. He was kind, talked at an age appropriate level, thoroughly engaging and really knew his stuff. What an asset to have! Many thanks for making our day James.
