I'm sorry got myself muddled up with legoland. Sealife doesn't have a picnic area but you can go in as many times as you like

Urmston. Then 30 min walk. I drove. Unless you want to shop also at Trafford centre I would recommend Blackpool. Sea life at Intu TC is overpriced and not good value for money.
